With the Commish on the road, I threw this together. Since I have 1st pick I know I will get 1 right. Well, maybe. The rest are all wild guesses. #1 - New York - Von Miller OLB9 New York adds another piece to its young pass rush, adding Miller to a group that includes JPP and last year's 1st over all Ndamukong Suh. #2 - Las Vegas - Cam Newton QB Las Vegas takes the franchise quarterback they desperately need. If kept together, Cam and Gronk will be a dangerous red zone combo for years. #3 - San Antonio - Kam Chancellor S9 A lot of options for the Vikings at 3, but with the lack of safety depth in the draft San Antonio chooses to sure up that spot with the young bulldozer Chancellor. #4 - Oklahoma City - Tyron Smith T9 The Invaders are betting on local boy Sam Bradford to be their QB of the future, so why not pick someone to help keep him upright. #5 - Albuquerque - Victor Cruz WR This is a get Eli some weapons draft, and who better then the his favorite developmental league salsa dancing target. #6 - Hollywood - JJ Watt DL8 With Smith and Chancellor off the boards, the Stars turn to Watt to help out on the DL. #7 - Minnesota - Evan Mathis G8/10 Despite the strong temptation to go QB once again, Minny fills out a bigger need with Mathis at guard. #8 - San Diego - Aldon Smith DE/LB7 Some may call him Terrell Suggs insurance, the Sun call him a pass rushing force. #9 - Philadelphia - AJ Green WR Philly continues to roll with Flacco so they figure they might as well get him someone to throw the ball too. #10 - Minnesota (from Pittsburgh) - NaVorro Bowman ILB9 London Fletcher has to get old eventually, so Minny gets him a partner in the middle and eventual replacement. #11 - Minnesota (from New York) - Julio Jones WR A luxury pick perhaps, but with 3 first round picks you can do that. Roddy White isn't getting any younger, and Jones is a tremendous deep threat compliment to White and Dez Bryant. #12 - Alaska - Patrick Peterson CB6 Maybe the most exciting player in the draft, the hope here is that he can learn how to cover someone from Darrelle Revis. #13 - Denver - Chad Rinehart G7/9 Filling a major need at guard, the Demons hope to compete for the Alt Bowl title once again this year. #14 - Arizona - Andy Dalton QB There are some happy campers in the Arizona draft room as the Red Rifle falls to them. Peyton who? #15 - Chicago - D'Qwell Jackson ILB8 The win now Caravan are happy to add Jackson to their very average middle linebacker corps. #16 - Indianapolis - Torrey Smith WR Four receivers go in the first round with the Cobras taking Smith to give Rivers someone to throw the deep ball to.
