The Draft: Selecting from the 7th spot can have its difficulties.
However I did identify who I preferred as my selection and Gregg
proposed the deal. I thought about the possibilities and went ahead
with the deal.

Offense: I do make a lot of the selections with this in mind. My team
speed is generally so so although the only really slow guy is
Konerko.Youkilis, Peralta, Lillibridge, Napoli and Ackley can all move
to first base if a runner off the bench is needed late. I do lack on
quality stolen base percentage guys - just Ackley and Victorino.
Hopefully I can get 40 homers from the catcher spot with Napoli,
Blanco and Salty all providing the dongs. Overall, I should be near
the top in runs scored while near the top in homers (Napoli, Blanco,
Konerko, Lillibridge, Willingham, Beltre have 30+ homer type cards,
while Ellsbury, Saltalamacchia, Peralta and Youkilis are 20+ homer
type cards) and triples (Victorino, Ackley, Ellsbury and Smith).
Should be satisfactory.

Pitching: Managed to get a good enough starting staff with the 4 G
starters and the one Z starter. Good enough but probably not great pen
although the two ZZ's/HBO's - Betancourt and Uehara should help while
starting off innings (in theory...)

Defense: A lot a 7 rated catchers within the league - only Jim and
Greg avoided one on the roster. Napoli supplemented by Blanco and
Salty should be fine. Only real other hole will be Peralta SS-8 with
only Aviles backing him up combined with the games Ackley and
Lillibridge play at 2B-7 but I do anticipate that Phillips will get
plenty of starts there. OF is decent Ellsbury and Victorino.
Lillibridge and Johnson will get plenty of time out there in LF with
Smith in the mix (probably more than necessary). Should be OK

Possible playoff team. If the pitching holds I should be in the mix.
