2009 Trades and Transactions



11.21.2009: 

Cut DE5 Eugine Wilson, who had been an injury replacement for Bob Sanders.

Pickup DL6 John Thornton, injury pickup for DT Tommie Harris.

Pickup OLB6 Scott Shanle, injury pickup for LB Keith Rivers.

10.30.2009: 

NY Knights drop injury replacement OT Woody and sign G5 Zuttah. 

Hwood signs WR Marvin Harrison while WR Bobby Engram heals up

10.20.2009: 

For the injured Andrews the NY Knights sign and welcome back T6/5 Damien Woody.

10.17.2009: 

Forgot to announce that NY signed Ricky Williams, and Keith Ellison as
injury replacements for Brandon Jacobs, and Shawne Merriman
Many players re-entering the line-up this week as they get back from injury.

10.1.2009: 

Indy makes the following moves:

Cut DT5 Marcus Thomas, add DT5 Tank Tyler.  Tyler goes into starting lineup.

Cut QB Kevin O'Connell, add CB3 Tyvon Branch.  Branch goes into starting
lineup.

With 3 free agent pick ups after the start of the season Indy reaches the
cap for these moves.


A reminder that the trade deadline is also the deadline for free agent pick
ups.  Since I did not remind everyone of this I am extending the trade deadline to
Sunday morning at 9AM EST.

10.2.2009: 

Trade deadline is 9 AM EST.

9.26.2009: 

Krakow signs RB Fred Jackson and cuts Ryan Fitzpatrick
Indy cuts WR Devin Thomas and signs WR Mario Manningham

Per leagues rules both guys go into the starting lineup.

Krakow signs ILB 5 Andra Davis for the injured ILB EJ Henderson.

9.24.2009: 

Krakow loading up on picks for next year.

Krakow sends ILB 7 Dhani Jones to Philly for a third rounder next year.

9.20.2009: 

Hollywood trades its first round pick in 2010 and OLB 8 Keith Bullock to
Krakow for Krakow's 4th round pick next year and OLB 10 Demarcus Ware

With the NFL underway it is time to set the trade deadline.  Trade 
deadline will be one week from this Friday at 9 am EST for guys working 
around the clock to get a deal done.

Time for the buyers to mortgage their future for a championship and the
sellers to stock pile picks for next year.

Also take a look at your injuries and make lineup adjustments as 
necessary, especially if you do not have a sub at that position.

9.3.2009: 

Minny cuts RB Fred Taylor and signs RB Michael Bush

Indy returns Samari Rolle and Jason David to free agent list and cuts S Roy
Williams.  Indy keeps injury sub CB5 Tramon Williams.  - since NFL has not
started he does not need to go into starting lineup

Chicago sign DB Eugene Wilson as an injury sub for S Bob Sanders

Pittsburgh signs RB Bill Bajema and WR Brandon Stokley for the injured Greg
Jones and Josh Reed

Hollywood signs DE Leonard Little as an injury sub for Adelius Thomas

Hollywood cuts WR Marvin Harrison and CB Chris McAlister and signs WR Devery
Henderson and WR Earl Bennett.

There is no truth the to rumour that Jay Cutler had anything to do with the
signing of former college teammate Bennett or that Jay Cutler really has
control over the entire football operations in Chicago or Hollywood.

8.30.2009: 

With the start of the NFL season nearly here remember that if you want to
pick up any players and do not want to start them you need to make the
add/drop prior to the start of the NFL season.  Lets say 30 mins before
kickoff  8:00 pm EST on Thursday September 10th.
If you pick up a player, other than for injury, after that you will need 
to start that player for the rest of the season and as per the league 
rules you are limited to 3 of these pick ups.

their roster - I think that is a record
Philly signs S Renaldo Hill to replace S Reggie Nelson

8.12.2009: 

Chicago picks up CB5 Joselio Hanson for the injured CB8 Rashean Mathis.

Indy signs FB Ahmard Hall to replace the injured FB Peyton Hillis

8.10.2009: 

LasVegas: Dominic Rhodes as my pass catching 3rd down back for Reggie Bush

Vegas: Rodney Harrison for Jermaine Phillips

8.2.2009:

8.1.2009: 

With an injured punter San Antonio signs top rated Punter Jon Ryan to handle
the duties for the Vikes.

The pick is allowed per the new league rule.  This is a commish pick as i
have not heard from San Antonio.

7.31.2009: 

Arizona signs - FB Tony Richardson for the injured Frank Vickers

7.29.2009: 

Indy signs CB 5 Tramon Williams for the injured Terrance Newman.

Hollywood cuts injured returner Allen Rossum and signs RET Justin Forrset

Hollywood trades the 5th pick of the 10th round (originally Alaska's) for 
Pitt's 9th rounder in 2010.

5.20.2009: 

Chicago sends the 10th pick of the 8th round, currently on the clock, to  
Indianapolis for their 2010 7th round pick.

5.19.2009: 

Chicago trades OLB5 Anthony Spencer to Alaska for their 2010 8th round pick.

5.14.2009: 

Philly send its 6th rounder (on the clock) to Hollywood for Hollywood's 
5th rounder next year.

Hollywood selects OLB 6 Bryan Thomas with the acquired pick.

5.11.2009: 

Minnesota sends its 6th rd pick to Pittsburgh in exchange for Ben Leber OLB6

5.9.2009: 

New York trades S6 Charles Godfrey to Chicago for their 4th round pick 
(currently on the clock) and the rights to New York's original 9th round pick, 
which Chicago had previously acquired.

4.28.2009: 

The New York Knights trade Derrick Ward and its 6th rounder this year to
Philly for the Freedoms' 2nd rounder next year.

4.27.2009: 

The New York Knights send S7 Gibril Wilson and the Knights 5th rounder to
Albuquerque for DE7 Mattias Kiwanuka and the Rattlesnake's 8th rounder.

The New York Knights trade C7 Jeff Faine and a 7th rounder to Las Vegas   
for the Plague's 4th rounder.

The New York Football Knights trade DE10 John Abraham to Denver for QB
Brady Quinn plus the Demons' 1st and 3rd round picks in the current draft.

4.21.2009: 

Albuquerque send OT 7 Levi Brown to Denver for Denver's 2nd round pick.

4.10.2009: 

Hollywood and Arizona complete the following trade:

Hollywood gets:

4.6.2009: 

The Hollywood Stars send S 7 Yerimiah Bell and their 2nd round pick next 
year to Pittsburgh for OT 9 Walter Jones and their 8th
round pick next year.

RoughRiders trade Derrick Brooks OLB7 to Albuquerque for their 4th round pick.

Denver sends Michael Lewis S-7 to Krakow for Krakow's 3rd round pick in this year's draft.

3) Roster cut down day will be April 19th - all rosters to be down to 34
players
4) Draft starts Sunday April 26th.
