PENNYPACKER FRANCHISE TO MOVE; SPICING THINGS UP FOR
SL 2008

Pack up your cleats and put on some hirachis.  After a
dismal finish in 2007, the Pelahatchie Pennypackers
will be moving south of the border in 2008.  WAY south
of the border, to the Putumayo region of Colombia. 
The team will be known as the Putumayo Salsa.

The team name is inspired by the Seinfeld episode ~SThe
Millennium~T, which features Elaine~Rs battle with the
inattentive sales clerk at Putumayo, an ethnic
clothing store.  You will recall that Kramer, dressed
as H.E. Pennypacker, drops silica gel into the salsa
on the counter of the store.  George is trying to get
himself fired by the Yankees so that he can become the
new Director of Scouting for the Mets.  Jerry is
dating a girl who keeps moving him up and down her
speed dial, and Kramer and Newman are planning dueling
Millennium New Years Eve parties.

Predicting success for the Salsa is quite easy, and we
have already booked the revolving restaurant
overlooking Times Square and booked Christopher Cross
for the celebratory dinner after we win our second
Spit Cup in three years.  

Get your tickets early, or find yourself caught
somewhere between the moon and New York City.  I know
its crazy, but its true.
