This problem occurred in SL2002 and SL2014 and SL2017. ------------ 2017/02/12 update by Greg: We had this happen again. Jim had run some preplay games. Then he restored the org file that I sent out post-draft. This resets the league, but the team totals statmaster files still exist from the preplays. I went in and deleted: C:\Users\Public\Documents\APBA Games\Baseball\2016.WDD\ORG00003 STeamOFP.DAT STeamOFP.I00 TeamDef.DAT TeamDef.I00 TeamOfp.DAT TeamOfp.I00 Then I went into StatMaster. I checked team pitch/bat/fielding, and they all showed zero team stats. I checked Player Batting/Pitching/Fielding, and they all showed what appears to be correct Jim/Keith player stats. I did not delete the T00004G1.00? files as directed below. I was thinking they were box scores, but when I look at the SL2014 org, where I deleted those files, the box scores from the opening Jim/Chris series are still there. So I don't know what those files are. At this point, I think I'm ready to play one game against Gregg and see how things look. Gregg and I played one game. Stats look good in StatMaster. Team stats only show Gregg and I with one game, no other games. Jim and Keith's 5 game series is gone, as expected. Looking at player batting and pitching, all players for Greg, Gregg, Jim and Keith have expected stats. We continue and complete 5 game series. Stats look good to me. Send out org. Other league members confirm it looks good. ----- Greg, writing in SL2014: After thinking about it a lot, barely remembering what occurred in SL2002, and going by chris' description of what happened.... Chris played some test games on his SL2014 org. i'm assuming he scheduled them in league manager. once he played these games, they created stat files that i don't recall the name of. when he restored the final preseason org that ken sent out, since that preseason org didn't have any games played, those files didn't yet exist, and therefore didn't restore those files to overwrite the ones on chris's hard drive. so when chris and jim played their first series, it appended their stats to the files created by chris' test games. i believe this is the same thing that happened to keith and me in SL2002. I BELIEVE that we then deleted these stat files, and the next series that was played started them from scratch. that season, keith and i had 5 games missing from our team totals, and at the end of the season we only had 157 games appearing in statmaster. the individual players stats were correct. the stats displayed in autostats from SL2002 are correct. statmaster still shows 157 for that season. I would prefer we attempt the same thing for our current predicament. right now, chris and jim have 5 phantom games of stats in statmaster, or a total of 10 games. autostats correctly shows 5 games. we can either have them with 5 pretend games on their statmaster stats for all eternity, or attempt to delete the stats and have them be down 5 games for all eternity. i'd prefer to be missing 5 games than to have 5 phantom games on the stats. thoughts? of course, the deletion of stat files is a risk of another screwup. ------------------------- SUGGESTED SOLUTION: 1. Keith/Ken host restore org from Chris/Jim series. 2. Host deletes the following files: C:\Users\Public\Documents\APBA Games\Baseball\2013.WDD\ORG00003 STeamOFP.DAT STEamOFP.I00 TeamDef.DAT TeamDef.I00 TeamOFP.DAT TeamOFP.I00 T00004G1.000 T00004G1.001 T00004G1.002 T00004G1.003 T00004G1.004 (these final 5 files may be named something different, a different 1 thru 8 value in front of the G, such as T00008G1.000) 3. Keith/Ken play one game. At that point, check Advanced Draft for player usage for all four teams. Check Statmaster to check team totals showing Keith/Ken with one game, and Chris/Jim with zero games. Check Statmaster league leaders to see that all four teams have players show up in league leaders. Games Started by pitchers may be easy place to spot Keith/Ken players. 4. Assuming all looks good, play the final four games. 5. Send out org ----------------------------------------------------------------- Greg Nims gregnims@gmail.com 1:54 PM (4 minutes ago) to sl I ran one Keith/Ken game. The files I deleted were recreated. Statmaster showed 1 game played by Ken/Keith and zero games by everyone else, including Chris/Jim. Advanced Draft showed the correct games played for individual players for Chris/Jim and Keith/Ken. I then ran the other four Keith/Ken games. All player usage in Advanced Draft appears to be correct. Statmaster team totals correctly shows 5 games of stats for Keith/Ken, and "correctly" shows zero games for Chris/Jim. Statmaster league leaders show all four teams players, so Chris/Jim players are in league leaders. It appears that the file deletions worked how we hoped it would.
